You are warmly invited to a free, public reading of three original plays by Stephen H. Johnson, presented every other Monday evening this spring at Raven Theatre’s Schwartz Stage. Featuring an accomplished cast including Lucy Carapetyan (Nice Girl, Ironbound), Chris Peltier (The Assembled Parties), Noah Simon (The House of Blue Leaves), Kelli Strickland (Good Boys and True), and Mark Ulrich (How I Learned to Drive).
(Spring 1970) follows two young college couples navigating love and the shaping forces of their pasts.
(30 years later) looks at parenthood and the complexities of family expectations.
(present day) captures a grandfather’s reflections through conversations with his college-aged grandchildren.
Note: These readings are independently organized by the playwright and are not produced or sponsored by Raven Theatre.
