MORE SESSION INFO:

SESSION 1 (June 22-July 3): Brave Tails!

Group 1 (6-9): The Tale of Despereaux
Step into the grand halls of the Kingdom of Dor and meet Despereaux—a tiny mouse with enormous ears and an even bigger heart! Young campers will explore bravery, kindness, and believing in themselves as they bring to life castles, dungeons, princesses, and heroic mice through voices, movement, and imaginative storytelling.  They’ll invent new magical mouse-sized adventures, create bold characters (both furry and royal!), and shine a light into the darkest corners of the castle. With laughter, teamwork, and a dash of fairytale whimsy, campers will discover that even the smallest hero can make the biggest difference.

 Group 2 (9-14): The Warriors
Imagine discovering a hidden world deep in the forest—where wild cat Clans train, hunt, and defend their territories with fierce loyalty and courage! Older campers will follow Rusty’s journey from curious housecat to courageous warrior as they build scenes, explore character movement, and create dynamic clan stories filled with mystery and adventure. Through theater games and collaborative storytelling, students will invent new warriors, design clan challenges, and navigate alliances and prophecies. Along the way, they’ll develop teamwork, resilience, and creative problem-solving—proving that courage and community are at the heart of every hero.

Group 1 (Ages 6-9): Inspired by L. Frank Baum’s The Wizard of Oz
Meet the unforgettable characters of Oz—courageous lions, clever scarecrows, and whimsical witches! Young adventurers will craft their own magical wands, create Emerald City art, and face playful challenges inspired by the Wicked Witch’s schemes. Each day is filled with imaginative games and tales that celebrate bravery, friendship, and fun.

Group 2 (Ages 9-14):  Inspired by The Wizard of Oz, with elements from Wicked
Unravel the secrets of the Wizard and explore the complex story of the Wicked Witch. From crafting enchanted objects to navigating puzzling quests, they’ll test their wits and courage in this world where nothing is as it seems. With flying monkeys, shifting alliances, and spellbinding surprises, the witches of oz becomes an unforgettable adventure where every camper becomes the hero of their own story.

Group 2 (9-14): The Wild Robot
Imagine waking up alone on a mysterious island! Meet Roz the robot and explore how she learns to live among animals and nature. How Strict Are Your Age Guidelines?
We carefully consider the age range for each group to ensure that the programming is developmentally appropriate and a great fit for all campers. For our full-day, two-week camp, the minimum age is 6, and we also ask that campers have completed kindergarten. This structure helps us create an environment where everyone can fully engage and ensures that our teaching artists can meet the unique needs of each age group effectively.
Camp is a big commitment, and the full-day schedule is designed to engage children who are ready for this experience.  If your child’s birthday is close to the cutoff and they have completed kindergarten, or if you have specific questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
