Take Flight Story Lab—Where Imagination Takes Off!

Looking for a fun and creative way to spend your school day off? Join us for single-day theater camps on CPS days off—designed for kids who love stories, adventure, and imagination! Welcome to Take Flight Story Lab, where kids become storytellers, actors, and creators for a day.

From 9 AM to 3 PM, campers dive into the worlds of their favorite books, exploring characters, plots, and magical adventures through acting, movement, improvisation, and hands-on projects. Every day is packed with theater games, acting exercises, and story-building activities. Campers invent new scenes, craft props, and write mini-stories inspired by the worlds they explore—all while building confidence, teamwork, and imagination.

There is no culminating performance at the end of the day—Story Lab is all about exploration, play, and creativity. Kids leave with new friends, bold ideas, and stories of their own making!
