Audience Services Manager

Position

Reporting to the Artistic Director, the Audience Services Manager is responsible for the management of the theater during performances, the overall box office function, the theater’s group sales efforts, as well as other communication and relationship management activities.

Qualifications

The Audiences Services Manager should possess the following qualifications:
– Prefer at least two (2) years of experience with the management of box office, front-of-house, group sales, and/or ticketing functions
– Ability to work effectively with diverse people
– Good communicator with good interpersonal skills
– Good organizational development and management skills
– Good written and verbal communication skills
– Prefer an understanding of theater operations

Responsibilities

Performance Management
– Manage the theater’s operations during performances
– Manage the front of house staff, including but not limited to developing the staffing schedule as well as managing their overall operations
– Manage the theater’s relationship with the Saints, including but not limited to the scheduling of ushers provided by the Saints

Box Office
– Manage the theater’s overall box office process
– Manage the theater’s relationship with Ovation, including but not limited to setting up shows and maintaining the subscriber base
– Manage the theater’s relationship with Goldstar, Hot Tix, and other discount ticket organizations
– Manage the theater’s relationship with the Jeff Awards Committee, including but not limited to processing ticket requests for Jeff Committee members
– Process telephonic ticket orders
– Process complimentary ticket requests

Group Sales
– Manage the theater’s overall groups sales efforts

Salary
Salary is 28k, with paid vacation and access to a health plan.
